3, 2002 Greenville, SC – Arthur State Bank recently completed the purchase of an existing building located at 1925 Augusta Road, near Augusta Road Baptist Church. The existing facility will be renovated beginning in July and plans are being made for an October 2003 branch opening. The branch will also include drive-thru and ATM access. Arthur State Bank is a full service community bank providing various deposit accounts including free personal checking and online banking. Other services include a Trust department and personal, business and mortgage loans. Arthur State Bank is privately owned and has operated locally since 1933. The bank is based in Union, SC with additional offices in Spartanburg and Greenville. Arthur State Bank is a member of The Affiliated Family of Banks, which includes Carolina State Bank and Pinnacle State Bank. The Affiliated Family of Banks operates thirteen total branches and a Trust department in the upstate area.
